Heavy Vehicle Condition Assessment (VCA) provides a written assessment on the condition of your vehicle, assessing the items that would be regularly checked in a CoF inspection.
Our inspectors specialise in heavy vehicles so will quickly identify any major issues with your vehicle, detailing exactly what needs to be repaired and what would prevent it from meeting safety standards and passing inspection.
A VCA is not a pre-purchase inspection as it does not all areas of a vehicles condition. For example, it does not check:
- engine, clutch, gearbox and differential condition
- lubricant levels and condition
- brake pad thickness or life expectancy, unless they are visibly below safe limits
- paint work condition and some rust in non-structural areas.
